Aroha Beach Club was born from a shared love of the sea, a deep connection to Aotearoa New Zealand, and a desire to bring a little of its spirit to the Kent coast.<\/p>
I\u2019m Ollie, and together with my other half, Lauren, we founded Aroha Beach Club after years shaped by coastlines on opposite sides of the world. Lauren spent time living, studying and working in New Zealand, and it\u2019s also where the two of us eventually crossed paths\u2014drawn in by the same scenic beauty, warm and witty people, and the M\u0101ori spirit threaded through everyday life.<\/p>
\u201cAroha\u201d carries meanings of love, compassion and connection\u2014feelings that reflect both our bond with New Zealand and our pull towards the sea. That pull led us to settle in Deal, where we now live with our daughter and our cocker spaniel, never far from the sound of the waves or the glow of first light across the water.<\/p>
From those early mornings came one of our guiding ideas: a Sunrise State of Mind. It\u2019s the feeling of starting fresh, embracing nature\u2019s rhythm and being present\u2014whether the day breaks calm and golden or wild with wind and tide. It\u2019s how we choose to live, and what we hope to share.<\/p>
